Hi everyone, now the proud owner of my first motorhome, a Pollensa. Delighted with the choice, looked at a few but this low mileage example is a credit to its previous owner. We've hired motorhomes for 12 years now, and decided it was time to own one. I hope we can benefit from the forum members experiences and knowledge should we have any problems.

Welcome to the forum from sunny Preston.
We pass Stirling every year on our annual pilgrimage North, have they finished renovating the castle yet?

Frank

The last time we stopped off for an hour or two to look around the castle, we were there for over six hours and still didn't see it all as part of it was being renovated - which is why I asked content
We usually stay at Witches Craig if we are stopping in the area.

Witches Craig is a pretty and popular site - good choice. There are several other sites all in the immediate vicinity for Stirling making it good for a stop off on journeys north. The Castle projects are still ongoing but being completed regularly making it a good day's visit. There are two Park n Ride, one to the east and one to the west of the city and though I don't know their official policy, there are always a few parked so they must be sympathetic.

Weather brilliant in this area just now. Come along. wave
