1995 Ford Transit Duetto Auto-Sleeper

Hi All. I'm trying my best to join in with you all, My Hubby Barry & I Jackie bought this Motorcaravan in September & we are gradually repairing bibs & bobs, made some curtains to fit out of curtains I had, fixed the grill & hob, we will be having the lower part sills sorted as the dreaded rot is setting in, had an oil leak sorted, need to have the driver & passenger seats stitched, we'll get there with the repairs one day soon hopefully. Jackie & Barry T

Nice photo, The thing about these older Trannies you can still get parts for them. You will be surprised how many are still about.

Hello Lady Essex, and also to His Lordship. You've chosen a good van!
We bought our '96 Duetto about three years ago, and have averaged about 46 nights per year in her since. We too have had issues with the dreaded tin worm, but have decided to have a substantial amount of welding done, to keep her going as long as possible. The main reason is that we can't find any van that we like better; the interior is in lovely condition, the bed and sofa are really comfortable, and, width wise at least, the van fits a normal size parking space.
