Newbies
Hello Folks,
After years of fancying the idea of having a VW camper... We've only recently been in the position to get one!
It's a 1997 VW Clubman GL on a T4 chassis.
There's a wee snagging list that we're working through, but nothing too drastic, thankfully!
We live in the Northern Highlands, and weather permitting, hope to use our vehicle a couple of days a week during the winter months ahead. Once we're back to our "normal" rainy, wet roads we'll be out much more
We're hoping to get some good advice, do some brain picking, lookout for suitable accessories, ideas, spares, etc.
Kindest regards from (Mr and Mrs) Peatlander

Hello and
from Leicestershire.
Clubman good van, it is a motor home by the way, not a camper, campers have a porta potty, not a dedicated wash room.much more luxurious.
Enjoy.
Best regards,
Margaret

Re: Newbies
Aww, cool name! Is he a rescue dog then? Both our spaniels are rescue dogs from the sspca, the eldest one will be eight this Dec, adopted her at six months old, and our youngest eighteen months old we adopted in June this year.
I have always liked Border terriers, great nature.. Cheeky and cute!! When I was eighteen, I was given the task of delivering a young Border from Cheshire up to Inchnadamph, quite a journey for us both, but what a sweet companion he made! Kinda missed him on the way back. We moved up to the Highlands Twenty years ago, it was always an ambition to live in the Highlands after taking that wee terrier to his new home..

Not a reasue Peat, we did look at the Border terrier reasue society and draw a blank, however the breeder of our first wee Bitch Maisie pointed us to a friend of theirs who had a 16 month male BT .Peatlander1 wrote:Aww, cool name! "Are you on the east or west side of the highlands."
Technically, neither! Those out west, KLB etc, say we're east, Wick and Thurso say we're out west...
We're pretty much in the middle, a 20 mile trip north and we'd fall in the pentland firth.
(Sandy... Peatlander1's other half!)
