Bike Rack Empty Bike Rack

Post by theglove78 Mon Jun 17, 2019 7:55 am

Hi Gang

We brought our 1996 Amethyst a few months back now.  It has the fittings mouted on the back for a Fiamma back rack - however, no actual bike rack.

I don't fancy the idea of potentially pulling those brakcets off for the sake of fitting a brand new one (not even sure a brand new one will fit my old jalopy).

So, theres eBay etc but i have 0 clue as to make and model of bike rack etc.  Clue in the picture - any pointers would be hugely appreicated  up!

Typical, you find the answer to youre question and I have just taken the bike rack off our Rienza. We are on opposite sides of the country but if you ever fancy a very long drive for  fish and chips its sitting here waitnig for a new home. Management regards bikes as instruments of torture and wont let me have a new bike so the rack is redundant. shrugg

Cheers Gary - my partners Mum lives in Devon way  up!

I'll bear you in mind next time we're down.

Thanks Dave, i have relative who lives in just outside of Scunthorpe so if we're out that way, i'll call in with a bag of Fish, Chips and mushy peas  hugegrins

We're Scotland bound in August and my 4 year old (soon 5) has just bossed riding his bike minus stabilisers!   smile!

Ok Rob, Scunthorpe is not far from me so that could be done. I can introduce you to the best chippy in Cleethorpes.
Well done with the bike. If he is like my daughter on a bike at that age no one is safe. it was a case of what big brother can do I can do better including falling off.  cycle.
