Avtex TV usb playback

I have just tried recording live tv to a usb stick, but when I try to view the recording back, I can’t view it in full screen only a small rectangle in the middle of the screen. Anyone seen this problem before? and can share the solution

I don't know your TV at all, but when I bought my 'smart' TV, I tried the same and it didn't work.
Later found out that it will only record to a hard drive.
It will play from a usb stick but not record.

I have the Avtex l199drs pro and have no problem recording and playing back from a usb stick

Yes, but I can't quite remember what I did.

I think I just pressed the "Go" button on the remote a second time, but it did bring the picture up to full screen.

Suggest you fiddle around a press a few buttons. If I could find the right one I'm sure you can. 

Why not phone Avtex, I'm sure they would tell you exactly what to do.
