Definitely a good van, I had an Anniversary Clubman until last Dec, cannot beat a VW T4, says she who is on her third.
Best regards,

Welcome to the forum
We bought our 1993 T4 Clubman (same layout and design as Gatcombe) a couple of months ago and have just returned from our first major trip. https://www.autosleeper-ownersforum.com/t27672-first-longer-trip-overnights-in-old-clubman
We found the size perfect for the two of us plus dog, big enough for all home comforts, but small enough for supermarket carparks. We felt that the T4 based vehicle was a better bet than the more rust prone Fords and have been delighted with our choice. Apparently T4s are also holding their price well and have a big following.
Let us know how you get on with your first trip and hope you have many years of happy use.
Roger
