New AS Trooper owner
Hi everyone, well, I finally threw away the tent and bought a camper.
A 1994 2.5 petrol Trooper. Me and the misses had our first outing this weekend and loved it.
These things are really well thought out and very comfortable.
Loving the site, loads of useful info on here for a newbie.

Welcome to the forum Clarkey
I lasted a bit longer than you with the tent but made the same decision. No regrets but I do not envy folk trying to pack up on a soggy morning as we had to do more than once. Enjoy your van.

Thanks Askit,
Ironically I will probably end up getting a drive-away awning for the dogs to sleep in. But I will still be toasty in the van.
