Is there an on/off switch on the fitted drop down TV fitted in a Devon and possibly a Nuevo. Just to save power. The stand-by light is always on so need to save power if possible.

Is it the Avtex W103? If so, no off button, standby or power on only. Manual (pg 10) says unplug the power cord.

Hi, logic would have it that there should be a manual off switch on any electrical device especially  television's. More products these days advertise very low consumption when on standby mode. Even so, if you are off EHU, every little helps by completely switching off.
Just seen previous thread so my assumption could be wrong.

You rarely get a mechanical on/off switch on TVs / radios now they are all electronic sensing devices.
We have to unplug all four of our Samsung TVs before going on holiday as they can switch on by themselves if sunlight catches at just the right angle.
