On Order Empty On Order

Post by Gandolf Wed Jul 06, 2016 9:53 pm

We are very excited having just ordered a warick xl., hopefully the arrival date is September. We are currently caravaners, with quite a big caravan so this will be a bit of a challenge to downsize especially in terms of the amount of gear that we usually take with us, but really looking forward to the ease of touring and going to new places not accessible with car and caravan.

On Order Empty Re: On Order

We are ex caravanners and just bought a small MH this year. We were concerned how we would fit everything in. We soon found out we took far too much stuff anyway as we tried to live with the same things as if we were at home! We no longer take enough clothes for 2 weeks but rather for 5/6 days and invested in some travel hand wash instead and a few clothes pegs. The kitchen cupboards no longer holds enough cooking equipment to produce a 3 course gourmet meal for 6 people [only the 2 of us]. The bathroom cupboard no longer looks like we will never see any shops that sell toiletries or first aid/pharmaceutical type items.  We actually now have more empty space in the cupboards of a 3/4 berth MH  than we did in a 6 berth caravan!  Mind we no longer have to store things like the fresh and waster water containers, hitch locks etc etc   I have to say though that the under bench drinks store always remains fully stocked, as does the fridge ;)  You might surprise yourself how much free storage space you have when you get your head around what you actually do need for the 'camping' lifestyle
