Merc Hub Caps

Hi All
    Has anyone had any problems with the black center caps ,as the black paint is all peeling off,it seems to be made of an alloy that has pitted,next any ideas on the best way to smarten them up

I would have thought that Mercedes would have had these powder coated as against paint. If this is not the case I would get them cleaned,and treated then powder coated by a specialist company, IMO it would be worthwhile

If these are the caps, will be cheaper to replace.

     I got a set from Ebay £14 inc postage for the set few light scratches mine had been repainted and it was the undercoat showing through they are plastic
