Can anyone recommend good quality "13mm hex head screw in rock pegs" ? And a source to obtain them?
Been looking at user reviews on Amazon and some appear to cheap and nasty. Loads on ebay but no reviews
So not easy to select good ones
Thanks
Mikeyval

Hi there,

We have been using two boxes of these for the last four years to hold down the awning, Windblocker, tents etc.

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Blue-Diamond-Drive-Ground-Case/dp/B007VXRNEK/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1440019747&sr=8-2&keywords=rock+pegs

They are slightly rusty (as can be expected) and a few of them have suffered damage to the plastic ends (mainly caused by my poor marksmanship with a hammer) but they are otherwise in good condition.

Here's something similar to what you are looking for made by the same company.

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Blue-Diamond-Screw-Tent-Pegs/dp/B00D41XVTY/ref=pd_cp_86_3?ie=UTF8&refRID=0EKSDMS4CEX25YVHK7AA

With only one negative comment out of 51 reviews they appear to be what you are looking for.

Hope this helps. allthumbz

Best regards,

Hi Mikeyval,
I have a free standing tent and what I screw mine down with is 6 inch coach bolts from any hard wear store it has stood the test of time in many bad storm, by the way you need a good cordless drill the screws are of strong galvanized steel hope they should fit the bill.
Best regards Ray drinksallround
