Hi
I purchased an A-S Symbol nearly two years ago from Auckland Motorhomes. During this time I have made a number of additions to the vehicle and I am pleased to say that my partner and I are still most impressed with the way it performs and also with the support from the NZ agents. We like to travel, along with my son, whenever possible but busy work commitments often prevent this from happening.

Welcome to the forum ki.
You bought you UK mh in NZ but recently, in Scotland, I met a motorhomer from NZ [Auckland area I think] and he had just bought a motorhome in UK and was shipping it to NZ. I cannot imagine what that would cost but he reckoned it was worth it.

Hi squip
Your motorhomer from Scotland is probably correct given the high prices asked for motorhomes in NZ. Also, most of the locally built are made for the rental market and lack the European quality.

Hi Roger and Barbara
The interior is still mostly the same with the original TV replaced with a 19” TV/DVD combo and a solar controller with remote meter. The additions I refer to are an awning, bike racks, reversing camera, satellite decoder, solar panel, digital speedometer, etc.

Hi Keith.

Must have been away when you became a member anyway a belated warm welcome from Nottinghamshire. Are you a true kiwi or an ex pat? Will be smiling and thinking about our antipodan cousins when we are in the Rugby Final.

Thanks for the welcome, Whisky.

I am a true kiwi and proud to say that I don’t care for the national obsession so you are welcome to the cup!
