Broadway Habitation Door Empty Broadway Habitation Door

Post by Guest Mon Mar 17, 2014 3:56 pm

I have found a small dent in the lower part of the Hab door panel, have no idea how it got there.
Does anyone know how easy these are to pull out or do they have to be filled and painted.

Had some dents pulled out of car body panels but not sure if the Hab door would take it.  confused3

It should pull out, but you may need to get to the back of it in case it needs proper hammering out. The door interior comes apart quite easily and you should be able to get to the back of the panel if it is like mine. I know because the door lock fell apart a couple of months ago while in France. In the rain!

I wound out the awning to keep dry when I fixed mine!
Sunny here at the moment........
Its quite easy to take apart. The handle came off mine first, then the rest of the screws are obvious. Just be careful with the lock if you have to take it off and remember where all the screws go. I always photograph everything first with my phone so i can refer to it when I have a spare screw leftover!
