Electrics

Post by rose49f on Thu Nov 07, 2013 4:27 pm

I have finished holidaying in my van for this year but will continue to drive him about. Do people switch their electrics off while the van isn't being used as a live in?

I've deleted your parallel post.

I presume you are asking about the habitation electrics - lights, water pump, etc. Is that correct?

Thanks for deleting. I couldn't do it. The switches I mean are the ones in the cupboard on the floor under the sink. There are three blue switches together with the trip between. I have a Trident.

I'm not familiar with the trident but they sound to be switches for the 230v mains circuitry in which case they don't do anything if you are not on a hook up so just leave them alone. If I'm wrong in my guess I'm sure we'll hear soon.

I think they will be your miniature circuit breakers (MCBs) for the mains circuit Rose, wot we have nowadays instead of fuses.
