Aerials

Post by ubuntu1 on Mon Nov 04, 2013 6:25 pm

I have had success with an aerial from Blaupunkt. Take a look at http://www.blaupunktdirect.co.uk/antennas-aerials/tv/tv-flex-antenna.html

It is very unobtrusive and seems to be better than a lot of so called motorhome aerials.

For directional aerials I can recommend UK Aerial Alignment - an App for your phone. Not only does it show the direction of all available transmitters but also shows you whether the aerial should be vertical or horizontal (a simple H or V is shown). If on a site with other vans/caravans then you can note which way their aerials are pointing.
