Peak District National Park

Post by hillwalker on Wed Jul 10, 2013 11:42 pm

I have to say this is one of the best independent sites I have ever stayed on http://www.beechcroftfarm.co.uk/

The pitches are big, most sites would get two vans on these,  on the EHU post there is your own water tap and the site is terraced to give good views. free Wi Fi, Breakfast van, Chippy van well stocked shop and if you like walking there are trails every where. Very quiet and informal up!

Definitely one for the future.  The site looks a good one, saved to my favourites.
Thanks.

This site looks really good.
However, there is the issue of mandatory electric for us motorhomers - presumably based on the assumption that we are as consumptive as caravanners.
Still, they have already recognised that some tenters require very little and introduced a prepaid meter card system. This shows that they have an awareness of the issue.

At £18 all-in low season, as Anne B says, this is one to be saved for the future.

Thanks "H".

Looks good and the prices are reasonable in comparison to some independent operators in the area. Many thanks.
