I ran my 2004 Clubman with Vanco2 tyres at 45psi fronts and 50psi rears after having it weighed and talking to the Continental Tec dept!

Very similar to Frederic for the Duetto. i.e. Vanco 2 but at 46psi front and 54psi rear.

They have done over 32,000 miles now and passed their MoT last month.  allthumbz  allthumbz

Re: Tyres....a saving too far ?

Frederic comments are, I believe, spot on.

If you van originally had camping tyres fitted and the original pressures are labelled somewhere (door post?) the pressures quoted will be wrong for commercial tyres. If you get front/rear axles weighed (when you are loaded ready for a trip) and then contact the tyre manufacturer they should give the correct pressure to use.

Having just had my vans 4 tyres replaced with commercial tyres (not camping tyres) I was advised to use 60psi for my load. I also think I heard/read somewhere that the tyre pressure quoted on the tyre wall was only for USA?

Mines on Vanco Ecos 62psi front 65psi rear according to the book. As the max on the sidewall is 65psi I run the rears at about the same as the fronts.
