Been to Manchester Airport again today - twice. On first run to the airport I spotted an Orian version of a Nuevo, I think thats a Lancashire, on the opposite carriageway. Then in Flint, going through the McDonalds drive-through I saw a very tidy L reg Rambler. I was in the carpark having just a coffee (honest) so was hoping they would park up and I could give a calling card but they just drove off. On my second run to the airport I passed another Orian Lancashire or perhaps the same one going back, if the same one, they hadn't been very far. I thought it rare to see two as I haven't seen very many of these Marquis specials.

Hi Paul
The Orion version of the Nuevo is the Zeta
The Marquis version of the Nuevo is the Lancashire.

Oh thanks for clearing that up, I thought all Marquis specials were Orians. So why did AS produce Orians?

It was thought by the previous owners that there was a need for an alternative brand with a separate dealership network and I must confess that I liked some of the Orians more than the AS branded ones. However I guess it didn't work out and the current owners had made a big investment in the company and had to rationalise the product range to turn the company around.
