Hello Dianne

Nice to see you back on the forum again smile!

Do you mean Freeview or Freesat? it's just you mention a Sat Dish and Freeview can only be picked up through an aerial (unless im mistaken?) so I presume you must mean Freesat?

Have to tried the obvious and tried a re-tune? could be locking onto the wrong transmitter for your area maybe? what is your signal strength for the other channels? I'm no expert at this stuff so hopefully others here can offer you some advice which might help get you sorted out up!

Hello Dianne

We contacted Maxview today on your behalf and this is the response we got, they seem quite helpful so if you don't get it sorted give them a call on the number below and they will guide you through it smile!

Hope this helps.

Admin.

Thank you for your email,

All she needs to do is a channel scan and it will sort it out.

Depending on whether it is a freesat box or free to air box there is different ways of doing it, you can tell her to call our helpline and we can talk her thought it on 01553 811000

Thank you &

Kind regards

Hannah

Thanks folks I think this topic has sorted out something that was puzzling me(amongst many).
I get Dave channel when using aerial but a message saying the channel is scrambled when using Satellite system.
