Renault Traffic RCX

Post by kernow jon on Thu Nov 01, 2012 3:38 pm

Just collected the van from Dorset - in the pouring rain I drove her back yesterday. That was the easy bit.
She drove like a dream - wipers were OK - lights OK and kept up a steady 50 one little splutter when drowned by 2 or 3 large trucks in succession - new plug leads I guess.
Now the work starts, has anyone ideas where I can source some spares?
1. The side door lower hinge needs to be replaced the part bolted to the body?
2. The water pump is in need of replacement a Shureflow - any ideas including alternatives?
3. Set of good curtains

Temporarily I am going to try Aralditing and strapping the cracked hinge - ideas for alternative bodges will be welcomed.

There's a Trafic of around the right age being broken here: http://tiny.cc/aut3mw he may be able to help with the side door hinge.
If you search on ebay for shurflo water pump you'll get around 100 hits
'Fraid you'll have to get the sewing machine out for the curtains though content

Not saying you can't get them anywhere else but it's one source.
