Five Grumpy Old Men!

Hi there,

Last Sunday the first of us reached the "three-score years and ten" barrier so we had a party!

We all went to school together back in the late 50's, we are all grateful to be alive and according to our wives we are all "grumpy"!



Personally, I will breathe easier when the last of us reaches the 70 milestone next April.

Many thanks, but the reason "I will breathe easier when the last of us reach the 70 milestone" is that my own birthday sits right in the middle of the five!!

If it's any help, I share my birthdate with Albert Einstein and Michael Caine.

Unfortunately I have been gifted with the good looks of Albert, the mental abilities of Michael and the wealth of neither!

That's the problem! I knew the "What a haul He would get!" as our local priest used it many times on my mates and I when we were kids.

However, after you triggered the memory I wondered what the original source could be (suspecting The Bible) and hit Google Search.

Result? Just the saying and a question that asked where it had come from!!!!

Does anyone on this Forum know the genuine original "source"?
