Low Moor Caravan Club Site - Seaton Whitby

Low Moor Caravan Club site, Seaton, Whitby, which is set in the North Yorkshire Moors National Park and in Heartbeat country. Ideal base for the seaside resorts of Whitby , Scarborough and visiting the Moors. up!

Sat nav directed us to the site with no problems, even dodging sheep on approaching the entrance. Entrance to the site clearly marked and a warm welcome greeted us. biggrin This site doesn’t have a toilet block, so no onsite toilet or showers, again we were prepared for this and used our own on board facilities On_loo . A motor home service point was available for drinking water and grey waste disposable. There was an elsan waste disposable point on site as well. Due to the recent downpour grass pitches (32 pitches) weren’t available only hard standing (60 pitches) which suited us fine.

We located a pitch close to the dog walk, with a great open grass space to the left. walkies The pitch could do with weeding but wasn’t as bad as some reviews suggest and the wardens did apologise for this. The pitches were on the large size with space for the pull out awning and quiet secluded and surrounded by trees and we managed to get a TV reception with no trouble. EHU was quite a reach from our pitch so we needed our 25m lead for the electric then the kettle went on. ready for coffee A cup of tea was had in the warm sunshine, so peaceful just the birds singing.

Afterwards, a stroll around the site – the dog loved it in and out of the trees, squirrels and birds everywhere. We looked at the information room and got a selection of leaflets studying . Falling Foss waterfall was one. Only a 30 minute walk from the campsite on the way there, but 45 minute return journey – it was up hill running . The waterfall was beautiful cascading water with woodlands around and a quaint tea shop for refreshments at the Falls.

We were at the far end of the site so weren’t bother by the road noise in fact even if you were near the main entrance I’m sure the road noise wouldn’t bother you. As this site had no toilet block the price was reasonable (£13 in total) if we are ever in this area we would use this site again. all good

So many roads, not enough time!!
