Flashing red means it can't find a GSM signal.

Are you in a remote location currently?

I'm also sure there's some irony in the spell checker / autocorrection swapping the word inet for inept hugegrins

I was all fired up to get a SIM for mine when I picked up my van thinking what a great help it would be. 9 months on and I can’t recall one instance when I would have used it!
I’m sure it would be really useful for some people though.
I did download the free app and had great fun turning the heating on via Bluetooth while lying in bed....for about a week before the novelty wore off!!

I just unplugged the power connection on the Inet box and it’s been powered down for 9 months without any issues regarding the operation of the main unit.

Took a look at mine as I'm in the same situation & found it's hard wired in & can't be unplugged.

Sure that’s what I did Flash but it was 9 months ago! I will have a look tomorrow afternoon when I’m in the van.
Edit.....just looked this up. Clearly shows a DC socket, does yours not look like this?
