Hi there,

I have one of these attached to my old Renault.

I can see there is an eyelet for winching it open on the right hand side but I have no idea how to go about opening it.

Apparently there are legs that fold out of the 'box' to support it but how?

Does the winch arm live in that box too or is it generally stored elsewhere?

Thanks guys

The 'winch arm' as you call it is needed to open the canopy. It will have a hook on the end of a long handle which will go into the eyelet on the right hand end.
Turn anticlockwise to open and clockwise to close.
Yes the legs are inside. You will see them when you undo the canopy.
The handle may be stored somewhere in your van. Possibly on a shelf that you may have to 'feel' for.
If you can't find it maybe a call to the person who sold it to you?
