Thank for letting me join this group.

We have recently purchased a 1999 Ford Amethyst and this is our first Motor home.  We are about to embark on a trip to the West country from Sussex and are really excited. 

Having never camped in a motor home before I am sure we've forgotten a few things but I am sure we will work it out!

What do you mean by "About to embark"?

If it's not absolutely imminent, spend a night on your front drive. There's no better way of "remembering what you forgot" than to live in the van for a night, if you can.

Don't forget the duvets - one couple on here did a while ago, and it was the middle of winter!!  oh_blast!

Thanks all. 
We're off on Friday.  We did spend a couple of nights on the drive although still not the same as being away.. Think we will be over packing rather than under packing this time.  Duvets are on the list!
