Calling Cards at Broadway CC site

Post by Campievanner on Sun Mar 11, 2012 8:30 am

We arrived at Broadway yesterday and on walking round (as we always do) the site saw a Duetto with a ASOF calling card under the wipers. It wasn't me who left it (and we didnt find one so they may have left Saturday morning) and there was only one other AS on site a Nuevo so there has been a member here in the past couple of days.
We did get a wave from a Symbol on the way down which is quite strange as we didn't get many waves in our Duetto.

Hi There Campievanner

I own up... hugegrins it was me & MrsCC at the Broadway site, we had most of the week there... such a shame we missed you as we left mid morning saturday so_sad Really liked staying at the Broadway site and Broadway itself is a jem.. we put out several cards on the site, had an Inca parked beside us, a Stratford nearby, an Amethyst, a Nuevo I, and spoke to a nice chap in a Nuevo II, also a couple of Duetto's on later Transit bases.

We stayed at Broadway as we had a couple of visits to Auto-Sleepers during the week, now at Cheltenham opposite the race course for one night (first site so far with free wifi) off to another site in the morning as we head towards Oxfordshire.

Hope the members we spoke with or left cards for sign up smile!

Shame we missed you hopefully another time. Always good to talk to another owner.
There was a Duetto waiting in the long line to book in when we left on Sunday.

We went on to the Moreton-in-marsh site and left a number of cards there as well... bizarrely 2-3 days later walking around the site most of the cards were still on owners screens scratch head
I'd like to think that anything left on our vehicle I would spot pretty much straight away... unless of course we need some larger sized cards possibly? smile!
