Getting ready for new adventures Empty Getting ready for new adventures

Post by Lone Ranger Sat Feb 17, 2018 9:23 am

Just saying hello after joining a month or so back.  We are Stuart and Linda from Aberlour in Moray, the home of Speyside whisky.  We have both just finished working and have recently  acquired my wife’s much sought after camper, a 2013 Warwick Duo.  This is our first van and I’m still ploughing through all of the instructions and information that came with the van and trying to get to grips with how everything works (hopefully all will!).  I’ve no doubt I’ll have some daft questions to ask as we didn’t get a full intro to the van from the supplier due to the delivery arrangements we agreed, but hopefully I can get some help from friendly forum folks.

Anyway, it’s a lovely day here in Moray, so heading to the coast and our first overnight stop in Goldie!  Pretty cold though, so hope the heater works properly!

Not a place I’m afraid, just the name the van’s been landed with for the time being.  I think I’d head to a place called Goldie though:smile!:

Welcome to the forum Stuart and Linda  allthumbz

I would of thought with that avatar your van would have been called Silver  snigger We’ve spent several holidays up in Aberlour before getting our MH, it’s actually on our list for a revisit sometime in the near future (which could be months or years). Good luck with the new wheels.

After a lovely evening at the beach in New Aberdour on Saturday and had a stop for lunch in Portsoy today and passed through Findochty on our way home.  Small world!
