Campsite near Auto-Sleepers HQ Willersey

Post by CC on Mon 20 Feb - 22:59

I have had a recommendation from Neuvosleeper for a site near Banbury, thanks again for that Brian.

Just wondering if anyone else has any recommendations for a C&CC, CC or independent site in the Willersey / Broadway area or slightly out from this area? Thought MrsCC had already booked us in somewhere but seems I was mistaken, so the nearer we can get to Auto-Sleepers Willersey Service Centre the better really...

The pub at the far end of Willersey (not the Bell - halfway up) will let you stay in the car park (free) if you go in for a drink or a meal.

There are two mains hook ups outside the Service Centre at AS Willersey. (free)

Broadway or Moreton In Marsh CC Site

Winchcombe C&CC Site

The voice of experience !!!!! LOL scratch head scratch head

Thanks Paul... that's the site Neuvosleeper speaks very highly of so will visit it sometime on our travels, but for our visit to Willersey we want to get as close as possible up!

If your just overnighting stay at the factory, so long as you tell the service centre early enough they will keep one of the hook ups for you.

Marquis just told me AS do NOT have any facility for staying overnight so are they telling me little porkies! I have to go up beginning May and was thinking of asking the same question of where to overnight. Would have thought it logical they would offer somewhere to park as a customer service.

Been stopping overnight at Auto sleeper service centre at least twice a year for over ten years now, three hook ups, two by the skip and one under the service bay door, if you get there before they close for the night, I like that one,as the buildings don't block the satellite signal.

Just remembered CC, if you park on one of the hookups by the skip beware in the morning. One of the chaps who works next door has a dog, very friendly with humans, never seen it with another dog though!!!
