Warwick bed

Post by Jon Wiggans on Thu Oct 26, 2017 6:38 pm

Can I ask ...
When putting bed out, is it just a matter of releasing the locks & then pulling either side out to the centre ?
Does it then lock in place ? And is body weight just supported by the mechanism ? Or are there legs for centre ?
Hoping go away for fist tune in ours the weekend (try it out) and haven’t played with the bed mechanism yet !

There are no locks (on ours) you pull out the beds to desired width and there they stay. If you want a double just keep pulling till they meet supported by the attached legs.
Might add I find the Warwick beds the most comfortable I have experienced in 4 caravans and 4 motorhomes

Warwick Bed

Post by KimF on Fri Oct 27, 2017 8:47 pm

On my Warwick the bed bases slide out as you suggest but are further supported by three legs which are permanently attached in the down position. Just spent a week in the Lake District and I have to agree with Roli, they are extremely comfortable beds for a campervan.

If you want to make a double in an Autosleeper Warwick Duo then slide out the seat base of each bench seat until they meet in the middle. They have a leg at each corner. Use the backrest to fill the space.

You can't miss the legs. I want to see a photo of what you are doing hugegrins

You will soon find the legs if you leave seat in the tilted up position and walk down the van.  When you hit the legs you will be in pain!!

It would help if you could add the age of the van to your profile, yours may be a very early example of the model.

No legs on the Warwick bed unlike the Warwick duo, just slide them out, the cushions keep everything in the middle, I'll agree with KimF as regards comfort, better than the bed at home.
