Nuevo cupboard doors

We have a 2011 Nuevo that we are very happy with. One modification I would like to do is to replace the twin doors, cupboard over the fridge, with a roller type door. It is a pain opening it when you are using the work top. Has anyone else done this or got any ideas where to start. Thanks

Hi Nicnaen, if you Google 'tambour doors ' , there are various suppliers who will supply the door cut to size required and also the tracks that the door runs in . Should be easy to remove existing doors, screw in the new track either side which includes a cassette type part that the door rolls up into and fix the new door in place. The interlocking door slats are easily cut anyway if you find one slightly oversize. There are various colours and styles available so you can mix and match to your taste.

We found the same problem trying to open them and having to clear the worktop to do so - i just removed the doors and filled the holes with a matching plastic wood. If you want to cover the microwave and open storage space perhaps a small made to measure roller blind?
