Avtex TourerOne Sat Nav

Post by Saltyseadog on Sat Sep 02, 2017 2:06 pm

Can anyone help me out with problems pairing a replacement Sat Nav with my reversing camera on my Autosleeper Symbol.  I had to get a replacement unit under warranty as the screen was corrupted on the original unit however when I try to pair with the van it says the Sat Nav is incompatible even though it is an identical replacement.  Unfortunately there is no engineer available at my local Marquis dealership until Monday and I'm off to France then, any help would be appreciated.

Have you unpaired the old one before pairing the new one? Can't think of anything else you could do.

Presume you are using the cable with the bluetooth box on it.

No direct help I'm afraid, but if you are really stuck, the Tom Tom Go App for the smartphone is excellent, and not expensive.

It could get you out of a hole as a last resort. shrugg  I wouldn't want to tour France these days without a satnav. The road system is far more complex than it used to be, specially in and near major towns.

He will have the sat nav function, Gromit, but can't get the reversing function as it needs the sat nav to be paired by bluetooth with the camera on the rear of the van. This is the latest Autosleeper wheeze to avoid installing a proper wired reversing camera. It does work but is certainly not as good as a proper set up in my opinion.

Thanks very much for the replies.  I had unpaired everything and tried again from scratch without success.  I'll telephone Marquis tomorrow when I get to France

The dealer decides whether a wireless camera is fitted or not.
Try resetting the GPS to factory settings, then try pairing:
