wave
hello all
my (somewhat reluctant lol) husband  and i take possession of our new ( old!) 1991 ford transit as legend 2.5 diesel automatic next week!
we love camping in our gobur slimline 12/2 folding caravan but i have always hankered after a campervan/motorhome, so here we are! i've managed to persuade my other half and we're going to give it a go.
rather nervous but definitely excited. i think i'm more excited than my darling husband but that's because he'll be driving it! it looks big!
it will be great to meet up with other owners  and if required tap into the wealth of knowledge available on the forum. allthumbz
thanks for being here  smile!
bye for now

Welcome to the forum, and don't fret.

After 10 miles you will no longer be nervous.

After 20 you will be advising others how to do it.  lol4

Welcome from an overcast Selsdon.allthumbz
Don't worry about the size of the van. After 30 mins you will stop fixating on the kerb and the central white line, and be driving it like a mini but with better visibility. You will wonder why you never did it years ago. Have fun.
