Duetto stripes and single bed sliders

Post by jakethepeg on Mon Aug 14, 2017 8:57 pm

I have now had the duetto all of 2 weeks and am still impressed with the attention to detail exhibited in its design, and that is speaking as someone who has built numerous campers from scratch. I have already travelled over 2000 miles in it, a plodder but it just keeps on going. After the summer I intend to have the usual transit rot sorted out, and \I wondered if it still possible to source the side stripes at a reasonable price. I have seen the front roof stripe advertised on ebay from 40 pounds, and I don't count that as reasonable  confused3  On a different topic, I was setting up the bed on the seafront in Ramsgate (btw they have a very accommodating attitude towards camper parking, similar to that of the more enlightened continentals ) of course it was raining and the slider mechanism decided to deposit a load of ball bearings in the puddles. I have removed it, and it seems to be beyond redemption, all the plastic bits are toast. Does anybody have an alternative?? Thanks in advance.

Can't help with the slides. Stripes can be copied by a vehicle graphics company.
