Drive Away Porch Awning for VW Topaz?

Can anyone recommend a suitable porch awning for our old Topaz? We just want somewhere to put wet clothes etc before entering the van. It would be helpful to be able to leave it standing if we went off-site. Thanks.

Hi Alan

Just a thought. I don't think porch awnings can be left standing if you drive the van away??
Would a freestanding toilet tent be more convenient (Ghastly pun not intended  ) or something similar but a bit bigger.

It would save all the faff of disconnecting, then getting the van in precisely the right position to reconnect.

Many thanks, Dave. I suppose I was thinking of some a little larger, but you are quite correct: a storage/utility tent would be fine for our purposes.

I have in the passed used an awning on the side of the van, which is ok but takes a lot of light away from inside the van. You could consider something which is free standing sited elsewhere on your pitch.
Perhaps something large enough that would also take table and chairs, or if only for wet clothes, as Dave said a toilet tent.
