Hi - another newbie

Hi everyone. My wife and I have just bought a 1998 VW Topaz. Having a limited income (retired clergy), this is a dream come true for us, especially my wife. We have owned caravans in the past, but this is our first motorhome. Over the coming months, we'll have plenty of questions, I'm sure. I'm glad I found this forum.

Welcome from across the county border. Went to Herbert Strutt Grammar school in 1959 whilst living in Holbrook.
Loads of advice on here, gets a bit addictive!!

Hi Rob,
We lived in Derby for 20+ years, moved to the north of the county for 7 years, then retired to the Scottish Highlands for 6 years. Moved to Belper this year to be nearer to our children. Liking it very much -nice to be back in the area we knew so well, even if we don't originate here!
It seems as though most members have newer Auto-Sleepers than ours, but suspect they'll have lots of advice once we start using ours (we pick it up next week!).
