Hi from Thorne

HI having just joined the forum I'll do as suggested and introduce myself.

I'm Kev and live in Thore South Yorkshire.

Ive had my 2001 VW T4 2.4D Trident since November 2016 and love it to bits.

Being an avid aviation enthusiast it spends a lot of its time at various airports and airfields around the country and we have a regular group who meet in her for a chat and a brew and we call her the 'Natter Van' as thats just what we do.

I look forward to meeting some of you on our travels and to taking part in the various areas of the forum.

Welcome to the forum from Spittal. ( on tour), I'm ex AAC and love Avaiton, especially rotors, wife doesn't share the same interest, however my mate Paul ( another Paul with a Adria twin ) brings me all his footage from the air shows he visits.

Thanks Boaby, just had 9 days at RIAT 2017 and now have the uneviable task of sort the wheat from the chaff of 23k photo's.

These new cameras are great but the shots per second always get the better of me. Mine isn't too quick but still does 6 per second.

I think I need a week in the van to get it done. Hence the cunning plan of just explaining to the wife that she needs a few days to relax next week at The Nook Camp site next to RAF Mildenhall. Her agreement was met by a cheeky smile from myself.

When I've sorted through some of the shots I'll pop them up on my Flickr page and will send you the link if you like. There was a lovely Begian Sea King there that did an impressive display and there'll be some shots if it put up.
