sleeping plan

Hello, we have just purchased a 1991 model and have absolutely no idea how the seats with cushions work to make a double bed, any help would be appreciated , many thank's Dave

Ah, 'the hidden title' again. The sub-title line should be deleted.

Sorry, can't help with that but we have quite a few Flair owners so hopefully someone can.

Dave - unfortunately A/S changed the way that the bed worked significantly during production, so most of us would have to guess what should be on a '91 van. My rather later ('99) Flair had a metal frame built into the front of the settee on the driver's side, which slid out for the seat back of the settee to sit on top of. With that layout you don't swivel the passenger seat round to form the bed - you slide it forward and lower the back to be level with the rest of the bed.

I've got an 1986 AS Ford brochure which includes the Flair and a diagram of the interior on the back cover.
I can scan it in and send it over on a PM if you think it would help- cracking hairstyles by the 2 people modelling the van !!!!
