question about sigma EK beds

Hi,

Hoping someone can help. I am looking to buy a motorhome, and after extensive research, have come to the conclusion that the autosleeper sigma EK 4 berth fits the bill.

I've even seen one a little while ago, but the thing i forgot to note down, and am now struggling with, is what are the widths and lengths of the bench seat berths if you use them as beds, as is, without turning them in to a large double?

There are 3 of us (two adults and a very little one) and although we are not that big, we wanted to check the sizes of the bench seats were big enough to sleep on without having to make them all up into a large double,

Can anyone help? People keep saying things like "dont worry, they will be fine" but no one on google seems to have ever measured them....and people say stuff like that about normal beds (and i dont fit in a standard double with my wife....i keep pushing her out!).

Welcome to the forum

The left hand side is wider than the right hand and will be no problem as is, the right had side may require pulling out a little depending on your girth! there will still be a passage between them to allow loo access etc during the night.  The length on both sides should be ok up 6ft longer on the LHS if you swivel the passenger cab seat. 
The Luton bed is a generous size compared with previous AS vans and should present no problem upto teenager size

Hi and welcome to the forum from Bridlington ,if you don't mind waiting for a wee bit, I will get out and measure the beds, (its raining here).
Plenty of room in the Luton over cab area,however its not as high as the Nuevo 11 ekes or Broadway 11 EK 4,berth, the aperture is slightly narrower by around 4inchs

P.S.    the bench seat is 75" long x24" wide.  The split seat with back seat rest  and seat belts is 70" long x 30"wide.
This configuration  is used when you have the ladder up into the Luton cab area.
You can widen the single beds by another 6", however this blocks the floor area for ladder use.
The double is 76" wide
The wife and I find the beds very comfy, in single mode you can walk between the beds to get to the W/C and kitchen .

Like  Boaby, we have a sigma ek. Have found that it's  really more of an adult 3 berth as luton quite small, but such a lovely cosy van. We love ours!

Remember a couple of different layouts were available
