Re: photobucket images
I wasn't implying a lack of support, just saying that it makes the forum harder to use. Never seen the point of photobucket these days, and never had an account. If this is Photobucket's way of protesting a point, it's pretty low!meanchris wrote:The workarounds have been posted in more than one thread.
Only someone with admin rights can upload and redirect the button logos to another host.
Until then, I suggest that we all continue to SUPPORT this wonderful resource as best as we are able, by continuing to use it.

Strangely, I've been on other forums where pictures have been posted via photobucket, and have had no problems..

Which is why the 'forumotion' (and/or other hosting sites) connection mooted might have some merit (Y) (thumbsup) :D (big grin)

May I enquire how you did it?
I have no such luck on both PC with Win7 Pro or Tablet running Android.
Where is the little "i" hiding? if that is what you used.

Re: photobucket images
I think it varies according to your browser, but thanks the the stirling efforts of Ed (Admin) we are sufficiently back to normal that drastic individual action seems no longer necessary.rgermain wrote:Thanks for the reply, no such i any where on my PCGromit wrote:Just to the left of www. of whichever URL you are using..
Well done Ed. I bet your eyeballs are square by now from staring at the monitor!

EDIT:
Here's a link to 'Image Block' for FF
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-GB/firefox/addon/image-block/
Click 'install', then click on the little picture icon in FF's top right bar to enable the blocker, then reload the ASOF page with F5
Chris if you think it can be done in an hour best you pop over here and give me hand

Been at it for many hours, and still many more hours to go...

I think the operative phrase might be, "with access to the originals", which I see from your posts might be a little difficult if they're being held hostage by Photoblockit.

It also assumes that the new host is selected and ready for a mass upload, I admit.

I'd be more than glad to man the pumps if it was needed though, and you've done a great job so far, many thanks.

Well Gromit if that's the case, I bow down to admins efforts, I didn't realise they had solved the problem. Everthing I tried just didn't work.
Well done to Admin, they deserve everyone's thanks.
