Overseas breakdown cover

Post by Solihull Baggie on Fri Jun 30, 2017 11:47 pm

We have a 17 year old Peugeot Boxer and currently have breakdown cover in the UK with Green Flag. We are off to Ireland for a few weeks in July and August and are getting very high quotes for a van of that age for single trip cover. Anybody know of any good, cheap cover?

Cheers in advance.

Open a nationwide current account the one you pay£10 a month for, includes european breakdown cover for motorhomes up to 7.5 tons . Also includes travel insurance .

Plus if you know someone with one you both get £100 pays for the first year.

Do I know you? Sounds like a good little earner.

Yes if you want, but I'm certain that you will have one in the family. If not send me a pm,  peter

Hi,
I'm a bit late on this one but I got sponsored by an ASOF member for CSMA (Boundless) cover for £98 plus £25 joining fee covering repatriation etc and whatever vehicle you're travelling in.

If you're going through Rosslare there's a new campsite 5 minutes from the port (I've just come back) as part of an activity centre called IAOB, cracking site for a stopover and handy for the early morning return ferry.
Carne Beach campsite is a bit out of the way, is predominately mobile homes and the touring areas are right at the back of the site.
