Inca water entering outside locker

We have owned a 2006 Inca since March of this year and are having fun discovering the different ways to get the best out of it. One thing that we can't understand is that rain water gets into the nearside locker. So far its ruined some charcoal and soaked the camping chairs. I am not sure if it enters through the locker door or through holes in the bottom of the locker, perhaps there are grommets' missing. Of course in sunny weather its not a problem but we are off to Scotland soon and we may find it different. Any suggestions?

The lower lockers are not considered water tight.  I managed it on the Windsor by slitting some pipe wrap and fitting it to the bottom edge of the van so the locker door bottom closed against it.  At the same time AS had drilled holes in the corner of the locker base - I filled these.  This did seem to cure the problem

We had the same problem when our 2014 Broadway was new. AS fitted struts under the locker, lifting it slightly and so enabling the rubber seal to clamp tightly to the bodywork. The water had been entering by capillary action which is why it took so long to pinpoint how it got in.

Touch wood we have had no problems at all since then whatever road or weather conditions we drive it through.  The locker is designated a "wet locker" because all those muddy and damp levellers etc can be stored in it without dirtying under bed items. It is still meant to be waterproof however for storage of tools and solutions.
