Habitation door handle

Post by mcheenan on Mon Jun 05, 2017 12:04 pm

Hi, does anyone know where I could get a replacement for a habitation door handle for a 1994 Peugot Talbot Autosleeper? My local caravan dealer is not very helpful and I am struggling to find a source via the internet.

The one shown in the link above is a back door one off a Marina and as such does not have a key lock in it.   I have a brand new lockable one for sale. You will need to transfer your lock barrel though.! Price £24 plus postage.
I'll put photos on shortly so you can check.

I only posted that one as it was the only one that I found Paul, didn't spot that it was a rear door, should've gone to Google images perhaps. hugegrins

Habitation door handle

Post by mcheenan on Mon Jun 05, 2017 2:33 pm

Hi Paul, this looks the same as the one on my door so I am happy to purchase it and get my mechanic to do the work. Please let me know how to proceed.

Hi Paul,

Wondering if you have any more of these locks or, know where I could find one? The exterior habitation door handle on my van has snapped :-(

Many thanks

If they are Marina handles then early Land Rover Discovery ones should fit. I've got quite a few of those as I also do up old Land Rovers

Thanks Paul. This just seems to be the interior handle? There seemed to be an exterior one linked below but, not in great condition.

Puddlejumper, do you have any of the exterior handles for sale?

Thanks

When I looked it had key hole so was exterior handle, seller must have edited it to save relisting fees.
