Versions of the autosleeper circa 1990,s

Post by samleeds on Sat May 20, 2017 10:18 am

Does anyone have record of what different models Autosleeper made in the 90,s and what bases and motors they incorporated in them. Knowing would give a different perspective on what we all own and the differences theirin. Im talking primarily of the over the cab bed and rear kitchen models

In the early nineties I had a Talisman on a petrol Talbot, unfortunately had to give it up when I had to do quite a bit of commuting to work and finances couldn't stretch to a car as well, it was quite heavy on petrol I remember.
I checked on gov.uk road tax site a couple of months ago and it is still about but on a SORN and not on the road.

There was an earlier version of the Legend about the size of a Talisman/Executive and similar in layout.   The Legend most of us think of is a rear lounge front kitchen job. The latter considered by many to be the best AutoSleeper ever built

Sorry about missing the old Talbot Express, this was also the base for the original Executive I also missed the later Peugeot Talisman
