Seems rather excessive to me.

Hi  wave

It sounds a lot but when you break it down (obviously prices are only estimates):

Small Consumer Unit                       £20.00
30mA RCD                                    £25.00
6mm Cable (5m)                            £15.00
LED strip lights (£25 Each)             £100.00
Pump (£15-£60 depending on type)  £30.00
Power Socket (x2)                        £10.00
Sundries (Crimps Cable etc)            £10.00
Total                                         £210.00

That leaves a bit under £300 labour. It’s hard to estimate the time without seeing the van but bearing in mind how much work can be needed to get at things I’d say 5 hours at £60 an hour or so wouldn’t be unreasonable, especially if they need to drop the water tank to fit the pump.

I'm looking at getting a similar amount of work done on my CF 250. I hope it doesn't cost that much :/

I would agree with Brod.

Ten minute jobs always take an hour, specially on older vehicles where the connections may well be corroded. I wouldn't think £600 is excessive for all those jobs, specially having paid over £200 yesterday for a low mileage service on a Skoda Citigo!

Just rewiring the 12 volt system is not a quick job if it means a complete rewire!
