Hi Everyone

My name is Steve and I am a new member.  I recently went to a motorhome auction at BCA Nottingham to buy a Hymer and ended up buying an Autosleeper Trooper on impulse.  I did so due to the excellent condition and layout of the camper.  It had a few minor issues which I have now sorted, a good T cut and a wax polish.  It is now gleaming and ready for use.  Last week my wife and I went to Canterbury for an overnight stay at the park n ride and a visit to the city and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.  It reminded us of when we started out out back in the 70's with bay window veedubs.  To be honest the Trooper is too small for us and we will be advertising it for sale soon, but it was a great reminder of the early days.
We also have a Hobby 750 and have been looking to downsize for a while.  Yesterday we spotted a very nice Kemerton on Lowdhams website and they have offered us a good deal on a trade in with our hobby which we have accepted.  We are due to pick it up early April and once we have added a few bits hope to get away to try it out properly.  It will take a bit of getting use to for me as I am use to taking all sorts of stuff away 'just in case' although I rarely actually use most of it!
We also got given a 1963 Bedford CA Dormobile recently by a farmer where my son was living.  He had owned it from new but had left it in one of his barns for the last 40 years unused.  It's in remarkably good condition with only minor rusting although the engine is seized.  It is complete though and I will be renovating it at some point and hopefully taking it to classic camper shows eventually.
I will provide an update once I collect the Kemerton and let you know my thoughts.
