Not sure if it's the same as the Neuvo but there's a push light below the step switch, could it be that??

Why would it be down by the step switch?

Cause that's where it is on our FB and on our previous Broadway EK. To clarify, the switch is sited approximately at eye level if you were standing on the actual step.

I suggested that but had the reply that the tank heater switch was in the control panel.

Passed that on but told the microwave switch is by the 13amp sockets above the worktop. Why do AS keep moving things about?

Switch on a Broadway Empty Re: Switch on a Broadway

Post by Paramedic Tue Dec 27, 2016 10:09 pm

Hi Paulmold, further to my second post that I now apologies was somewhat misleading. My wife reminds me that our FB has the step and overhead cupboard lighting switches both on a single facial plate adjacent to the habitation door at waist level. The illuminating switch for the microwave is higher up next to the 12v tv/ariel/satellite points. Our former Broadway EK microwave was of course on the work top above the fridge simply via a mains socket. Such an illuminating switch is an indication that something is currently switched on that could easily be forgotten. As you state "why do AS keep moving things about?" For instance, the 2016 FB now has the said switch directly next to the microwave door. Regards.

They are not alone though. My second brand new car was a Datsun Cherry 120A. Many of its switches were in  the same position as the switches in my recently written off Datsun Sunny 120Y. The problem was they did totally different things. It's not nice thinking you are turning your main beams on only to watch the windscreen have a wash.

Our Nuevo has an illuminated push button on your left as you are getting in which is a low level light, I think to illuminate the step. It is a much harsher action than the rest of our switches. The tank heater switch is above the door.

That's what I thought it might be.

I know but thought your post might have got lost in the microwave discussion.

And my Nuevo has the outside awning light on the control panel, helpfully(?) labelled "aux".
