EXECUTIVE BED BASE REMOVAL

Post by sapper997 on Sat Nov 26, 2016 4:04 pm

The metal bench seat/bed frame has come apart from the bed leg on the nearside bench nearest the fridge on my 97 Executive,
I am assuming this is a welding job (I have not unstuck the covering yet), my query is how to remove the frame from the base
so that take it out of the van?,  I have had the offside bench out to get to the domestic water pump, but can't figure out how
to remove the nearside one,...any help appreciated scratch head ........Ray.

Sorry to hear the beds falling apart, maybe Norma should leave you alone at night if its going to ruin the van. Sounds like a welding job to me but your far better at mechanical jobs than me. Get it sorted for next year, ok.

My Talisman is a sister to the Exec & must be similar, the seat & bed square tube frames are actually bolted right through the floor & chassis so access is required from the underside as well.
