diesel fuel

hi guys , have been informed that when I pick up my duetto in Canterbury next week I will have a quarter of a tank full , what mpg do I get out of vehicle , how many gallons does petrol tank hold , we are about 100 mls away ,just trying to save stopping for fuel enroute home .

It would be brave to trust the fuel gauge to the extent of doing 100miles plus on an indicated quarter tank when you don't know its quirks, mine goes for miles then suddenly drops like a stone. Then again I am a belt and braces type I never let mine drop below quarter tank.

Good luck with your new van though.

Isn`t there anywhere near to where you are collecting it from, to fill up, better to be safe than sorry.it will need some anyway sooner rather than later. mine holds 80 litres,

thanks daisy mae , was hoping they would put some in it as I said mine would be half full but yes will get some on the way home before I hit the motorways , its me being lazy didn't want to stop .

Could you not syphon some out of yours into a can, ready to put in the Duetto?
