Helloooo! BIG WAVE!

So pleased to have found this forum as we are currently looking for our first Autosleeper, looking for a used 2 berth van conversion and we are a bit confused as to which model to go for.  We live in the South East and want to use our van for folk festivals and general touring around as we are both retired.  Happy Days! 

from Worcester. What are you looking for ie. berths, toilet, shower, length, age, and price. Give a few more details. I have a Nuevo upgraded from a Trident. I wanted more space and a loo. I love it

Hi, thanks for your reply!  Must haves: Loo, washbasin & Shower, Two good single beds not a collection of cushions that makes a lumpy double! A couple of gas rings with a grill would be ample, I don't intend to cook cordon bleu, and enough storage for a banjo and a couple of concertinas would be great!   Not too old and not too high mileage, spend up to £15,000 ... happy to wait till September to purchase ... what do you think? asking too much?

Go and see a few auto sleepers as they are all different. Pop into a dealer near you and put an advert in our wanted section. Don't buy off eBay as there are plenty of spams. Happy searching.

Many thanks to all for the welcome, as regards eBay, we have been looking, mainly because they have lots to see and many have good pics of the interiors, to give us an idea of what we want.   We have also been looking on Autotrader but lots are a long way away from our part of the world.   Finding one we like close to home is proving difficult!  We have spent time in a friends motorhome and we are pretty sure that we know what we don't want!!

When we bought our previous van (not an Autosleeper) we couldn't find anything in the south east so ended up in Yorkshire for a weekend as there appeared to be a lot up there,.

Hello and from Leicestershire, very rarely do you find the van you would like near home, I had to go 200 miles away , good luck, it can be fun searching for your ideal van.

Thank you to daisy mae and dbroada, we seem to like the look of vans that are at the other end of the country!!

We are travelling 'up north' in August so hopefully we can combine that trip with some  viewings
