Hello from Selston
Hi Hello
Cannot remember if I said Hello when I joined so here goes.
1/ Margaret and Dave on our No8 Motorhome/Campervan in 44yrs. This one is a Peugeot Symphony 1997 2ltr petrol.
2/ Have decided to downsize and have one vehicle we can use to camp or go shopping/ visiting as this one will fit in a car park space, not sure about the height th'o.
3/ After clearing out previous van have struggled a bit with smaller spaces, wondered where we kep't it all.
We have 3 grown up children, 2 sons aged 52yrs and 50yrs daughter 44yrs and one grandson 20yrs. But plenty of 4 legged children of all shapes and sizes. Celebrated our 52nd wedding anniversary this year.
We all are or have been keen campers and motorcyclists, but age catches up on some of us.
Well just going out to get channelling to fit an awning rail, not sure whether to spend money to get a Fiamma or just a rail and a drive away awning as we do not walk aswell as we used to. Also looking for a bike rack to carry awning etc rather than clogg up the van when travelling.
Only thing to get used to is I find this van very light on the steering compared to the old 2.5TD. van.
look forward to meeting members at sometime in the future.

Hello Margaret and Dave from a cold dull Leicestershire, for whats it`s worth I had a Fiamma awning put on my van by the dealer when I bought it, wished I hadn`t, personally I would have been better with a rail and canopy, each to their own at the end of the day. enjoy your van and happy
Regards,
from another Margaret
